This weekend, Racing Spirit proudly took part in Round 7 of the Power Series Event at Killarney Raceway, fielding three cars across multiple classes. Our drivers, Connor Kilbride and Tristan de Nobrega, showcased their skill, determination, and racecraft in thrilling fashion. Here’s a breakdown of an exciting race weekend:
Connor Kilbride
BMW Car Club Class (Class E):
Connor made his debut in the BMW E36 and wasted no time making an impression. In Race 1, he had a gripping battle with the experienced Ernest Page, showing incredible resilience. Connor followed that up with a brilliant drive in Race 2, holding off the competition to take the win, securing 1st place overall in the class.
Sports & GT Class (Class B):
Switching to his BMW E46 M3, Connor qualified on pole and dominated Race 1 to take the win. However, Race 2 brought some drama when a technical oversight resulted in Connor being incorrectly black-flagged while leading. Despite the setback, he secured 3rd place overall for the day.
Tristan de Nobrega
Sports & GT Class (Class C):
Tristan took the team’s new BMW E46 M3 for a spin and put in an impressive performance. His flawless execution resulted in two race wins, which earned him 1st place overall. Tristan’s growing streak of wins highlights his talent and consistency behind the wheel.
A Team Effort
It was a weekend full of wins, podiums, and challenges that showcased the spirit and skill of our drivers and the hard work behind the scenes. Congratulations to Connor, Tristan, and the entire Racing Spirit team for their achievements and resilience!
