Warwick Wealth Director of Client Administration, Christiaan Le Grange, demystifies wealth management administration.
What happens after you put pen to paper to invest into one of Warwick Wealth’s tailored investment products and investment solutions? Nestled in the heart of Constantia at the Head Office of Warwick is what we call the “war room”, but officially known as the Warwick Client Administration Centre that consists of various departments.
Firstly, we have the New Business Department with more than 50 years’ investment industry experience. These administrators have built an exceptional business relationship with most of the largest licensed financial services providers in South Africa. This ensures that a client’s new or existing investment is transferred to the new Warwick investment solution seamlessly and without delay. This includes a client’s existing or new local or international investment. In this process, a new or existing client will receive continuous feedback on the movement of their new or existing Warwick investment. These administrators can also open a forex bank account for a client that wishes to invest offshore. Ultimately, this department provides the client with the comfort and confidence of knowing that their new or existing Warwick investment is treated in a professional manner.
As part of our Warwick Private Wealth investment offering, we also offer our clients access to our bespoke banking solutions.
A client can decide to open a high interest call account (HICA) within Investec and Nedbank. This account can be utilised to transfer funds to the client’s new investment. The account can also be used to set up ad hoc incomes for a client, as well as facilitate income and estate late payments. Our banking policies and procedures have all been endorsed by major role players in the banking industry.
To ensure a client has been provided with the best advice for their current and future investment needs, we have invested heavily in a Warwick Internal Compliance Department and contract the services of the country’s leading third-party compliance company, Compli-Serve, to provide an additional level of governance and comfort to clients to ensure leading edge compliance across all our investments.
Thus, combining the expert advice from our Warwick Wealth specialists and our comprehensive range of local and offshore unit trusts, WRAP funds and personal share portfolios, combined with worldclass administration, all Warwick clients can be assured of sound advice and the highest levels of service in South Africa.
