Warwick Wealth Matters – December 2022

The Chinese curse of “May you live in interesting times” was certainly cast over the past year.
In our decades in financial services, it is difficult to recall a more testing year for international and local financial markets and of course, for investors. But, as noted in the positive performance of markets last month, there are the early signs of a global and local recovery emerging, albeit with continuing uncertainty.

In this final Warwick Wealth Matters of 2022, we examine the importance of international investing, while reviewing some of the major drivers, trends and performance across international and local markets in both the equity and fixed income space.

Before concluding, however, at this special time of the year, we want to make an appeal to our readers to join Warwick Wealth in supporting the Spirit Foundation and the marvellous work carried out by its three underlying entities, namely: the Spirit Education Foundation, the Spirit Community Foundation and the Spirit Wildlife Foundation.

Warwick Wealth Directors and staff support all three foundations and participate in their activities as part of our company’s corporate citizenship. 100% of all donations go directly to the Foundations’ programmes and as a donor you will know exactly where your contribution will be applied.

With this in mind, all that remains is for me to thank you for your phenomenal support throughout 2022 and wish you and your nearest and dearest a splendid festive season and a prosperous New Year.
