FINAL CAMmuniqué OF A HIGHLY EVENTFUL 2022
The Chinese curse of “May you live in interesting times” was certainly cast over the past year.
In our decades in financial services and asset management, it is difficult to recall a more testing year for international and local financial markets and of course, for investors. But, as noted in the positive performance of markets last month, there are the early signs of a global and local recovery emerging, albeit with considerable uncertainty and risk abounding.
In this final CAMmuniqué of 2022, we review some of the major drivers, trends and performance across international and local markets in both the fixed income and equity space.
We also provide our customary commentary on some of the key disciplines of financial investing.
