A strategic game, Chess.
The primary objective of Chess is to capture your opponent’s King while keeping your own well-guarded. When your King is trapped and cannot avoid capture, your opponent calls “checkmate” and the game is complete.
Life is like a game of chess. Every move/decision you make can either bring you an advantage or a disadvantage. Even acting upon your wisest/planned decision can bring a negative outcome.
Just like all investments carry some degree of risk, but at Cadiz, we only invest if there is an adequate margin of safety built into our own valuations. We think and act like long-term business owners, in a market focussed on the short-term.
Cadiz, investing for the future.
