FINAL APPLETON TIMES OF A CHALLENGING 2022 Despite a remarkably difficult 2022 and the continuing pressures we all live under, not least of which is creeping inflation, high interest rates, political strife and power cuts that would make Bing Crosby think twice about his annual song, we have reason to be more optimistic about 2023. Covid-19 is currently under control and many of us are fully vaccinated, boosted and better equipped to deal with the pandemic’s threats. On the economic front, despite lingering systemic challenges both globally and locally, all indicators are pointing towards a better 2023. From an Appleton perspective, one of the most encouraging features of 2022 has been just how much more engagement and communication we have had with our clients. As the Fiduciary Specialists, this is what we live for and it is extremely gratifying to enjoy these levels of communication with you.
